EDS Wafer's principal activities are to develop and market products based on isotopes for applications in the energy, medical research, diagnostic, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. EDS Wafer develops and commercializes products based on enriched stable isotopes and radioactive isotopes. EDS Wafer's products include Cadmium and Stable Isotope Labeled Compounds. It currently focuses on two markets, life sciences and semiconductor materials and products. The life science segment sells stable and radioisotopes in elemental and simple compound. The semiconductor materials and products segment sells SOI wafers and is involved in several research and development projects including silicon-28 forms for use in life sciences applications.
