Two of the most disruptive technologies to hit the Web in the recent years are social media and the mobile Web. The impact is so profound that the only comparison is to the beginning of the World Wide Web and its commercialization. The technologies hit the mainstream almost at the same time when businesses were finally getting to know and understand the Web as a sales and marketing distribution channel.
